Dates and Activities |
 |
Winter conditioning practice sessions will be held for girls 12 and under
that will play in Keystone's Major Girls Division this spring. We have space for
about 20 players and spots will be filled on a first come first served basis.
We’ve scheduled 10 sessions on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
beginning January 11th and running through March 15th. Total cost for the
10 sessions will depend on the number of girls that we end up with but should
not be more than about $35 per player. The sessions will be at the Frozen
Ropes training facility at 9757 S 140th St (near 144th and Cornhusker).
If your daughter is interested in practicing during these sessions, please
respond to Stacy Meacham at
keystonesb@yahoo.com. At the completion of the sessions, Keystone plans to
select a team of about 12 players that will compete in the Metro Omaha Softball
League in the Spring/Summer of 2009. In addition to playing on this
"select" team, these players will also participate on Keystone's regular season
teams. If your daughter is interested in consideration for the "select"
team, but cannot participate in the winter conditioning practices, please let
Stacy Meacham know. |

2008 Post Season Champions |
|
Major girls won the State Championship. The
Major girls beat Hillside to win the State championship and are
headed to Missouri for Regionals.
Minor girls won the Hillside Invitational
Tournament. Keystone had two teams compete in the Hillside
Invitational. The teams finished 1st place and 3rd place.
Farm girls won the Keystone Invitational
Tournament. The Farm girls blew past the competition and won three
straigt games to be crowned tournament champions.

Tournament at Hillside. Team Members include:

Keystone lost the first game of the tournament to Benson Little
League and had to battle all the way back through the loser's
bracket. Keystone faced Benson back in the Championship game on
Friday July 13th and won the game, forcing a true championship game
on Saturday, July 14th. Keystone beat Benson 8-5.

2007 Keystone Softball Minor Girls End-of-Season Champions

Keystone
Major (11/12) Girls Won 2006 State Softball and Qualified For
Regionals
The Major Girls won State
Softball this past July beating Lincoln All Stars in the
Championship game. We then qualified for Regionals held
down in Joplin, MO August 1-5, 2006. We went 0-5
playing Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and the World
Series Champs Michigan.
