Volunteer Information

Check the Calendar page for time and date details...

Volunteers must give a minimum of 8 hours during the league season to receive their volunteer check back.

Please bring work gloves, rakes, weed eaters and tools.  If the weather is questionable, please call the Keystone Rain-Out number (493-7766) for updates.  Make sure you check in with the head grounds keeper to record your time.                  

If you wish to utilize your skills/trade as a way to return your volunteer obligation, we are in need of carpenters, painters, roofers, and heating/cooling professionals.

We need volunteers who would be willing to drag and chalk fields once a week.  This can be done anytime during the day before 5:00pm.  No experience needed, we will train you to use the equipment.  You must be over 18 years of age for this job.

Volunteer Details

Manager – Manage all aspects of the team, organize and run practices, attend divisional league meetings ( 2 per season), be the liaison between league vice-president, players, parents and umpires. Be a role model of sportsmanship and fair play.
Coach – Assist manager in all aspects of team managements. Fill in and assume manager duties in the absence of the manager. Be a role model of sportsmanship and fair play.
Team Sponsor – Contact Bryan Rump 496-9462
Concession Stand – Minimum 2 shifts. Each shift 3-4 hours. Weekday hours: 5:45 – 9:30pm. Saturday/Sunday hours to be announced. Will cover concession stand by teams this year, organized by Team Parent. Must be 18 to volunteer and work in the concession stand.
Stand Supervisor – Supervise concession stand one day per week for the entire season. May job share with others.
Team Parent – In charge of organizing and tracking team concession worker obligations, distributing pop tickets, distributing other league information as needed. Will be selected by the team manager. Must attend Team Parent Orientation meeting (TBA).
Fields and Grounds – Empty trash cans, batting cage maintenance, be available to help with pre/post clean-up days, and other activities to maintain the playing fields and park. Involves some heavy lifting and exertion.
Trade Volunteers – You can provide specific services in exchange for volunteer time. Used on an as needed basis. Contact Keystone President if interested.

NOTE: Volunteers can be any family members 18 years of age or older.
