2024 Fall Development League

An 8 session skill development program for kids age 4-7 in Baseball and Softball and all sessions will take place in Omaha, Nebraska.

The intent of the Fall Development Program is to give our young players the opportunity to continue to develop their baseball/softball skills in the fall, while providing a fun and safe atmosphere at Keystone Little League. The 8 skills sessions will be broken down to provide focus on different aspects of the game: throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base-running, and situational plays. By focusing on the different aspects of the game over multiple sessions, we can provide a high number of repetition and practice, while re-enforcing those mechanics over multiple weeks.

The season will be capped off with a game between the teams and an on-field awards party to follow. (Based on number of participants.)

Most sessions will be held on Saturdays or Sundays based on registration response, with activities during the week on 3 weeks. First parent meeting scheduled for 8/17/24. (Season Start Saturday 8/24/24)

Final end of season game and awards no later than 10/27/24 (Season Conclusion)

Umpire Program

Junior Umpire Program:

The Jr. Umpire Program allows Keystone players and siblings of players who are age 11 (eleven) and above to learn a different aspect of the game if they are interested in participating. As a Jr. Umpire for Keystone's Farm and Minor baseball and softball games, they will have the opportunity to learn details of the game from behind the plate. All Jr. Umpires will be required to participate and satisfactorily complete at least one training session in March.

Jr. Umpires are compensated for each game they sign up and umpire for. All inquiries regarding the Junior Umpire Program should be sent to [email protected]

Senior Umpire Program:

The Senior Umpire Program allows Keystone players and siblings who are 14 years old and above to continue furthering their skills. All Senior Umpires will be required to participate and satisfactorily complete ALL training sessions in February and March.
